Edit animation clips in the browser

Frame-accurate crop, split, reverse, duplicate and cleanup for animation clips inside .glb, .gltf and .fbx files — no Blender required.

Open Rig Bake — free, in your browser

No sign-up. No upload — models stay on your machine. Works in any WebGL 2 browser.

AI generators and stock animation packs often ship one long animation take, or clips with jittery keyframes. Rig Bake gives you a timeline with dual-range crop handles so you can slice that take into proper game clips — idle, walk, run, attack — and export each one cleanly.

Clip operations

  • Crop / trim — drag range handles on the timeline and extract the selection into a new clip; the original is kept.
  • Split — cut a clip in two at any point in time.
  • Reverse — create a reversed copy (great for open/close, draw/holster pairs).
  • Duplicate, rename, reorder, delete — full clip-list management.
  • Clean up — remove jitter and redundant keyframes from noisy auto-generated animation.

Precise playback control

Play, pause, scrub and step frame by frame (±1, or ±10 with Shift). Set playback speed from 0.1× to 4×, choose loop, ping-pong or play-once, set the preview frame rate anywhere from 1 to 120 fps, and lock root motion so the character animates in place. Every edit is undoable with Ctrl+Z.

Export the result

Export edited clips back to .glb (per-clip export is free), or feed them straight into the spritesheet baker. You can also combine this with retargeting to build a character's full move set from multiple sources.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cut one long animation into several clips?

Yes — crop or split the take repeatedly; each operation produces a new named clip while keeping the original.

Can I fix jittery AI-generated animation?

Yes. The clip cleanup operation removes jitter and redundant keyframes, producing a smoother, smaller clip.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Rig Bake runs entirely in a WebGL 2 browser; files are processed locally and never uploaded.
